HibiDo Terms of Use

Terms of use for HibiDo by Sixbytes.

Effective June 26, 2026

HibiDo is a productivity app for tasks, planning, calendar workflows, notes, habits, and reminders. These terms describe the basic conditions for using the mobile app, related features, support resources, downloads, updates, sync or backup options, and any app-store distributed services.

Using the app

You may use HibiDo for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to these terms and any applicable app store terms.

You are responsible for how you use the app, the content you add to it, and the devices or accounts you connect to it.

You must use the app only in ways that are allowed by applicable laws, platform rules, app store terms, and these terms.

Mobile platform requirements

HibiDo may require a compatible device, supported operating system version, app store account, network access, local storage, and enabled permissions for certain features.

Some features may work differently across iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows, or other supported platforms because each platform provides different APIs, permission controls, file access behavior, notification systems, backup systems, and security features.

Features that depend on Face ID, Touch ID, passcodes, notifications, calendars, files, photos, local network access, cloud services, or app-store entitlement checks may not work if those platform features are unavailable or disabled.

Accounts, purchases, and subscriptions

Some features may require a purchase, subscription, trial, app store entitlement, account, or platform service. Availability and pricing may vary by country, platform, storefront, and product version.

Purchases and subscriptions made through an app store are usually managed by that app store. Cancellation, renewal, refund, family sharing, tax, and billing rules may be controlled by the app store or payment provider.

If a premium feature cannot be verified because of network, account, app store, or platform issues, access to that feature may be delayed or unavailable until verification succeeds.

Your content and backups

You remain responsible for the content you create, import, store, sync, or back up through the app.

You should keep appropriate backups of important information and review sync, export, import, and backup settings before relying on them.

Sixbytes is not responsible for content loss caused by device loss, deletion, failed backups, disabled permissions, operating system behavior, account issues, third-party services, unsupported file formats, user error, or changes made outside the app.

Sync, backup, and third-party services

If you enable sync, cloud backup, app-store services, local network transfer, file providers, calendar access, notifications, or other integrations, those features may depend on third-party platforms or services.

Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, limits, outages, storage rules, security practices, and account requirements.

You are responsible for reviewing the settings and terms of any platform or third-party service you choose to use with the app.

Acceptable use

You may not use the app to violate laws, infringe rights, compromise security, or interfere with the app, Sixbytes systems, or other users.

You may not use the app to store, transfer, sync, or share content that you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, harmful, exploitative, abusive, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, bypass access controls, interfere with entitlement checks, overload services, or misuse the app except where applicable law gives you a right to do so.

Intellectual property

Sixbytes and its licensors own the app, design, software, branding, interfaces, documentation, and related intellectual property, except for content you create or import.

These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or Sixbytes intellectual property to you. They give you a limited right to use the app according to these terms.

Availability and changes

Sixbytes may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features as products evolve.

Updates may add, change, or remove features, interface elements, platform support, integrations, sync behavior, backup behavior, or compatibility requirements.

Some features may depend on device support, operating system features, app store availability, network access, permissions, purchases, subscriptions, or third-party platform services.

No warranties

The app is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law.

Sixbytes does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every specific purpose.

You are responsible for deciding whether the app is appropriate for your workflow, security needs, backup needs, compliance requirements, and device environment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sixbytes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

Sixbytes may update these terms as products, platforms, business needs, or legal requirements change.

When updates are made, the effective date on this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
